Here at Jessica’s Haven, we believe special needs people need purposeful, rewarding jobs in our world.
Our mission is to be a small dog rescue that offers vocational and social opportunities to individuals with disabilities – we prefer saying people with different abilities. Our rescue dogs benefit from being socialized, bathed, walked, played with and love all the attention received from our program’s participants. Our growth potential is staggering- with your help!
Jessica’s Haven & Rescue is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization!
Our clients present a wide variety of disabilities, or as we say special abilities. Participants who are highly functioning can be hands-on with the dogs by holding, petting, washing or assisting in grooming process.
We serve people from Lifehouse, Oak Hill School, College of Marin Special Day Class, and Star Academy and growing. Contact us for a visit soon.
Our dogs also have a job – to give unconditional love to our participants and to get adopted! Jessica’s Haven is an operating rescue facility. Our small dogs come from shelters throughout Northern California.
We are actively seeking support from our community. Volunteer, donate funds, foster a dog! Help us connect with people who care about special needs individuals and rescue dogs!
