Shannon was named after the wonderful volunteer that transported her along with 3 other dogs from Ventura county shelter. Shannon was an owner surrender. People were moving and weren’t able to take Shannon with them.
She’s 6 years old and weighs about 6.5lbs. Despite the fact that this little lady was left in a shelter after being in a home for 6 years, she is incredibly loving and trusting of all humans. Shannon, like other small dogs, would be ok in a home with older children.
Stretch is a Miniature Pinscher mix. Male, approximately 2 1/2 years old. He is potty trained and crate trained. Stretch is fun, loving with lots of energy, but can calm down when appropriate! He would do great in a home with a yard, another playful small dog and older kids (6 yrs and up). Stefanie, who sees Stretch four days a week for six hours a day, says “I love playing fetch with Stretch!”. Wanna be Stretch’s new fetch play-mate?
Lila is approx. 2 years old. Weighs in at 5.2 lbs. Lila is like a chocolate lab in a chihuahua body! She is happy go lucky, loves all people, and other dogs. Lila loves to snuggle and burrow under the covers. She has a really really good appetite so cannot be free fed!
Miss Lila was adopted by a wonderful family in April 2014!
Hennessey is approximately 3 years old. This little golden girl is a little timid when she first meets strangers but quickly warms up, especially if a tasty treat is involved! She likes other dogs but would definitely need to be the alpha in the pack. This little dog will be extremely loyal to her human companion, she will do best in an adult only home.
This is the Peanut! She’s about 1 1/2 years old. Weighs a whopping 5 lbs. potty trained, super mellow and a snuggle bug. Loves everything and everyone!
This little girl is Halo, she is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to snuggle, likes other dogs, and all people big and small. Halo will need to be in a calm home environment as loud noises and yelling scare her. Her eyes tell a story of someone that’s not always been treated well and yet she holds no grudges.
Please consider bringing this special girl into your home and give her the life she deserves.
